The song is about the "hantour", the horse & cart ride along the banks of the Nile. A young couple take a ride & are flirting & playing games as they bounce along in the carriage.(more)
Clip Two - Adriana & the Bellywood Dancers & Drummers performing at Cygnet Folk Festival Jan 10th 2009. Khaleegy is the dance of the Gulf regions of Arabia. It is a dance of small movements because of the length of the thobe (khaleegy dress) & hair tossing. Here we are improvising to the music.
